BJP Surges Past Congress in Haryana, Crosses Majority Mark

The BJP has taken the lead in the Haryana Assembly Elections 2024, securing over 45 seats, while Congress is trailing with 36. Earlier trends showed Congress crossing the majority mark, but the BJP has overtaken them.

In the Jat region, the BJP leads in 11 of 17 seats, while the Congress holds 14 seats in Kurukshetra. The BJP remains strong in the Ahirwal region, leading on 19 seats, with Congress ahead on 8.

In the 2019 elections, the BJP won 40 seats, and early results indicate it may maintain state control.
