Reliance, Infosys, and TCS Among Indian Giants Partnering with Nvidia to Drive AI Revolution

Nvidia has announced major partnerships with six leading Indian companies, including Reliance Industries, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and Ola Electric, to enhance artificial intelligence (AI) adoption across sectors in India. The collaboration aims to build robust AI infrastructure and provide industry-specific solutions, leveraging Nvidia’s advanced processors and AI technologies.

Reliance Industries: Building India’s AI Backbone
Reliance Industries will work closely with Nvidia to develop a high-powered AI infrastructure in India, designed to support advanced AI models. This AI infrastructure will focus on handling massive data requirements, an essential component for artificial intelligence, according to Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, who discussed the collaboration at the Nvidia AI Summit 2024 alongside Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani.

TCS: Launching a Dedicated Nvidia-Focused AI Unit
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India’s largest IT service provider, has established a dedicated unit to develop AI solutions using Nvidia technology. TCS will integrate Nvidia’s AI platform, including the Nvidia Omniverse and Nvidia NIM microservices, to provide AI-driven solutions across sectors such as manufacturing, retail, banking, financial services, and telecommunications.

Infosys: Tailored AI Models for Enterprises
Infosys has launched two specific AI models—Infosys Topaz BankingSLM and Infosys Topaz ITOpsSLM—built on Nvidia’s AI stack. Designed to serve industries like banking and IT operations, these models will use Nvidia’s AI Enterprise and AI Foundry platforms. By combining general and industry-specific data, Infosys and Nvidia aim to streamline the deployment of enterprise AI.

Wipro: Transforming Healthcare with AI
Wipro’s partnership with Nvidia will focus on accelerating AI adoption in healthcare, communications, and financial services. The company plans to use Nvidia’s AI Enterprise platform and tools like NIM Agent Blueprints to support the rapid development of AI solutions, particularly for healthcare applications that require efficient, secure data processing.

Tech Mahindra: Bringing AI to Indian Languages
Tech Mahindra’s AI Center of Excellence, powered by Nvidia, is advancing AI models tailored for Indian languages. One of its key initiatives, Project Indus 2.0, includes a model based on Hindi dialects, making Tech Mahindra the first to build an AI language model focused on regional languages using Nvidia’s NeMo platform.

Ola Electric: Creating a Digital Twin for Manufacturing
Ola Electric is using Nvidia Omniverse to create digital replicas of its manufacturing facilities through its Ola Digital Twin platform. This simulation will enable the company to optimize factory layouts, streamline product development, and improve quality inspection systems through AI-powered solutions.

These partnerships underscore Nvidia’s commitment to India’s AI landscape, providing a foundation for scalable AI-driven growth across sectors. This strategic move is set to not only enhance AI infrastructure but also promote industry-specific innovations and efficiency across India.
