BSNL Launches Budget-Friendly Rs 108 Recharge Plan with Unlimited Calls and Data Benefits

In a move to attract budget-conscious customers amid rising recharge rates from private telecom companies, BSNL has introduced a popular 28-day recharge plan priced at just Rs 108. This plan has gained significant attention, especially as over 29 lakh users switched to government-owned telecom providers in July 2024, seeking relief from the high costs associated with competitors like Jio, Airtel, and Vi.

Details of the Rs 108 Plan:

  • Validity: The plan offers a generous 28-day validity, providing users with a month-long solution to their connectivity needs.
  • Unlimited Calls: Subscribers can enjoy unlimited calling to any network throughout the validity period.
  • Data Benefits: The package includes 28GB of data, allowing for up to 1GB of data usage daily.
  • SMS Services: Customers will also receive 500 SMS for the entire duration of the plan.

This Rs 108 plan is a First Recharge Coupon (FRC) specifically designed for new BSNL customers. When new users activate a BSNL SIM card, they must recharge with this plan to unlock its benefits for the first 28 days.

BSNL’s Competitive Edge:

BSNL’s pricing strategy sets it apart from private competitors, who have been increasing their recharge rates without offering similar budget-friendly options. This affordable plan has contributed to BSNL’s recent growth, making it an attractive choice for those seeking economical mobile services. As private telecom providers raise their prices, BSNL continues to gain traction as a preferred alternative for users looking for cost-effective solutions.
