Simran Singh, a 25-year-old former radio jockey and prominent Instagram influencer known as “Jammu Ki Dhadkan,” was found dead in her rented apartment in Gurugram’s Sector 47 on Wednesday evening.
Instagram Influencer Simran Singh, who had amassed over 682,000 followers on Instagram, was discovered hanging from the ceiling fan in her room. Her flatmates, concerned after she failed to respond to calls and knocks, broke open her door around 8:30 PM and found her unresponsive. She was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where she was declared dead upon arrival.
Originally from Jammu and Kashmir, Singh had relocated to Gurugram in 2021 after a successful stint as a radio jockey in Jammu. She was widely recognized for her engaging content and vibrant personality, which resonated with a vast audience. Her last Instagram post, dated December 13, featured a cheerful caption: “Just a girl with endless giggles and her gown, taking over the beach.”
Authorities have initiated an investigation into her death. No suicide note was found at the scene, and the autopsy report is pending. Family members indicated that Singh had been experiencing personal challenges and signs of depression in recent times. However, they have not filed any formal complaints, and no foul play is suspected at this stage.
