Farooq Abdullah’s Stern Message to Pakistan: “Kashmir Will Never Become Pakistan”

National Conference President Farooq Abdullah delivered a firm message to Pakistan following a recent terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Gagangir. Condemning the attack, Abdullah urged Pakistan to cease spreading terrorism in India, warning of “very severe” consequences if these activities continued.

Speaking on Monday, Abdullah made it clear that Kashmir will never be a part of Pakistan. “If they couldn’t create Pakistan in the last 75 years, how will it happen now? Kashmir Pakistan nahi banega (Kashmir will never become Pakistan). It’s time for Pakistan to stop terrorism if they want good relations with India,” he said.

The stern remarks came after terrorists attacked a tunnel construction site in Ganderbal, resulting in the tragic deaths of a doctor and six labourers. Abdullah stressed that such acts will not lead to Pakistan’s desired outcome. He added, “We need to move past this misery to live with dignity and succeed.”

The attack, which left two dead on the spot and claimed more lives later, has sparked outrage, with Union Home Minister Amit Shah calling it a “despicable act of cowardice” and promising harsh repercussions. Jammu and Kashmir’s newly appointed Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also condemned the attack as “dastardly and cowardly.”

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has been dispatched to Kashmir to investigate the incident.
