Blast at Ordnance Factory in Jabalpur: 2 Dead, 9 Injured

A powerful explosion occurred at the Ordnance Factory in Khamaria, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, on Tuesday morning, resulting in severe injuries and casualties. According to reports, nine employees have sustained serious burns, and two individuals are feared dead, although the exact number of fatalities is yet to be officially confirmed.

The explosion took place in the F6 section of the factory, where an aerial bomb reportedly detonated. The blast was so intense that it caused part of the building to collapse, leaving several employees trapped under the debris. Rescue operations are currently underway as police and fire brigade teams are working to clear the site and locate survivors.

The injured workers were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. Authorities are still working to determine the exact cause of the explosion.

This is not the first time such an incident has occurred at the Ordnance Factory, which manufactures defense equipment. Similar accidents have been reported in the past, raising concerns about safety protocols in these facilities.
