Coldplay has added a second show in Ahmedabad due to the overwhelming demand for their upcoming performance in India. The British band’s first concert, scheduled for January 25, 2025, at the Narendra Modi Stadium, sold out within minutes of tickets going live on November 16. The band announced that they will now perform a second show the following day, January 26, at the same venue.
The additional show comes as part of their Music of the Spheres world tour, marking Coldplay’s return to India after nearly a decade. The band, consisting of Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, and Will Champion, previously performed in India in 2016 during the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai.
Fans who missed out on tickets for the first show will now have a second chance, with tickets for the January 26 concert going on sale at 1 PM IST on November 16.
Coldplay’s India tour will also include three shows in Mumbai on January 18, 19, and 21, 2025.
