Mumbai, India – Promising young cricketer Musheer Khan has sustained a serious neck injury following a road accident and will miss the upcoming Irani Cup. The incident occurred while the 19-year-old batter was traveling with his father, Naushad Khan, from Azamgarh to Lucknow when their vehicle reportedly flipped multiple times. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.

Musheer, brother of fellow Mumbai cricketer Sarfaraz Khan, is expected to be sidelined for a period ranging from six weeks to three months, depending on the severity of his injury and the recovery process. This injury marks a significant setback for Musheer, who has been making headlines in the Indian domestic cricket circuit.

Over the past year, Musheer has demonstrated exceptional talent, highlighted by his standout performance in the Duleep Trophy, where he scored 181 runs for India B against India A, leading his team to victory.
