Imsha Rehman, a popular Pakistani TikTok influencer, has recently been embroiled in a scandal after explicit videos of her were leaked online without her consent. The videos, which reportedly show Rehman in compromising positions, quickly went viral, sparking widespread criticism and backlash in Pakistan’s conservative society.
Born in Lahore on October 7, 2002, Rehman had a growing social media presence, amassing over 200,000 followers on TikTok, where she initially gained attention with her lifestyle and relatable content. In response to the overwhelming controversy, Rehman deactivated her social media accounts, leaving a message on her TikTok bio stating, “Till the time video is viral, I have deactivated my account.”
This is not the first instance of a Pakistani influencer facing privacy breaches. Earlier, Minahil Malik, another popular TikTok star, also faced a similar situation when her intimate video was leaked, which led to significant online harassment and trolling.
As Rehman faces intense scrutiny, questions are being raised about online privacy and the pressures faced by influencers in Pakistan.
