Mukesh Ambani Shakes Telecom Industry with New Jio Plan Offering Unlimited Calling, Free Data for Rs 3.

Reliance Jio has launched a new plan at an unbeatable price of Rs 75, offering unlimited calling, 50 free SMS, and 2.5 GB of data for 23 days—translating to just Rs 3 per day. This aggressive move by Mukesh Ambani’s telecom giant has intensified competition in the market, especially for budget-conscious users, forcing other providers like Airtel and Vodafone-Idea to reassess their strategies.

The plan is currently limited to JioPhone users and comes with additional perks like free access to JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud. This pricing is part of Jio’s broader attempt to regain market share, particularly after facing some subscriber losses in 2024 when telecom tariffs rose.

This new plan is expected to attract a significant number of users, especially in rural and low-income segments, further solidifying Jio’s dominance in the Indian telecom landscape.
